Vietnam is an ideal place for journeys to sight- seeing spots thanks to its mild climate. While most of visitors are excited to visit beautiful natural attractions, many tourists wish to discover Vietnam through some adventure trips or look for less touristy destinations for their journey. Such special trip like this will be found in a combination trip to Xuan Thuy and Cuc Phuong National Park.

FULL ITINERARY

Day01

Ha Noi – Xuan Thuy (L, D)

Take a 3-hour drive to Xuan Thuy National Park. Upon arrival, check in the hotel in the park area. Spend time refreshing before enjoying lunch.

In the afternoon, set off your trip with a walk around the village to experience the local lifestyle of villagers and their close relationship with the mangrove forest. Continue on some dirty trails to shrimp farm where you will learn how the locals do their business on their homeland basing on standards Garden – Pond – Domestic Animal.

Overnight at the hotel in Xuan Thuy Park.

Day02

Xuan Thuy – Cuc Phuong (B, L, D)

In the morning, after breakfast, start your stunning day by transferring by canoe to the mangrove forest where you have a special chance to enjoy a bird-watching tour. Board the boat from the pier of the park center, cruise along Vop River passing through Con Lu Island and Con Ngan Island. From the boat, you can see the stunning views of bird species designated as endangered. Along the way, you may get a glimpse of the daily life of the locals on some stilt huts on the water. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park.

In the afternoon, transfer by bus for 2 hours to Cuc Phuong National Park. Upon arrival, check in bungalows followed by the dinner at the restaurant in the National Park center.

In the evening, take a discovery with the guide of the park to venture into the pitch dark forest to search for some forest nocturnal creatures.

Day03

Cuc Phuong – Hanoi (B, L)

After a sound sleep in the park, wake up in the tranquil atmosphere of the forest and relax with a morning walk around the region. After breakfast at the botanical garden, check out your bungalow and drive to the second center of Cuc Phuong National park. Upon arrival, enjoy a trek into the lush forest through trails with limestone slopes. During your trek, you will get a great opportunity to see the big tree in the park with thousand years old. Get back into your car for a drive back to the bungalows. Along the way, you will see the Ancient People Cave where Vietnamese ancient people lived a thousand years ago.

After lunch at the first center of the park, pay a visit to the Endangered Primate Rescue Center and Turtle Conversation Centre for watching rare primate protected in the park. After the visit, transfer back to Hanoi, arrive at around 6 pm.
