Hang En Adventure Cave Camp

Phong Nha - Ban Doong Village - Hang En (L, D)

From your hotel in Phong Nha at about 7:00 am, you will be transferred to Oxalis Headquarters. Before setting out to the vast forest, learn all the safety measurements, take your equipment and remember to sign Release Form. After 45 minutes drive, reach the drop-off point and begin our adventure cross the jungle at about 10:00 am. 

The very first challenge starts at the beginning where you must hike on a steep jungle hill until meeting a calm river.  Then, pass the fortresses of trees through the primeval forest to finally reveal Ban Doong minority village. Here, you can have a short break and learn about this special village among the jungle of Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park. Lunch in the open area near the river where you can feel the atmosphere of the wild at about 12:30 to 1:00 pm. After regaining your energy, continue the adventure through rivers, streams along the river valleys and finally the reach Hang En.

Explore Hang En at around 3:00 am and you will encounter a number of stalactite formations, the unique stone veins on your way. When you reach the beach within the cave, it is time to rest a little and wait for the camp set up by porter team. Afterward, you will continue your exploration in few hours, capture all the unique scenes that you see in the cave. Reach the exit where the Hollywood film “Pan” filmed and return to our camp through a dry passage. 

After that, you will be amazed by the 300 million-year-old fossils as we take you to a higher viewpoint of the camp. Then, refresh and relax in the private beach of Hang En and enjoy the tempting grilled dinner combined with the traditional rice wine and the rhythm of nature. Overnight in the camp.

Hang En - Hang Lanh - Phong Nha (B)

In the next morning, you will continue your adventure at around 8:00 am. After breakfast and collect your gear, time to leave the camp and exit Hang En at around 9:00 am. Do not worried if you still want to explore some more because we will take you to Hang Lanh which is no less impressive than Hang En. After trekking 1 km cross rivers and upstream, at around 10:00 am, you will continue exploring for the following 2 hours. Take your time to find out all the hidden gem of the so-called “Cold Cave” especially the remarkable river, rare fossils around the cave and so much more.

At 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm, we will have lunch and begin our return afterward. You will test your endurance once more through the river valley, cross the forest and climb the hill to the drop off point. At 4:00 pm, there is a car waiting to take you back to Phong Nha in just about 30 minutes. Your adventure trip has successfully completed.
