Are you looking for a hassle-free and authentic day trip from Hanoi? Grab the chance to take a day trip back in time to Duong Lam Ancient Village – a beautiful, peaceful and quiet village with an abundance of ancient houses, temples, gates and wells, anything you can think of a typical traditional Vietnamese village. It is also a great chance to get an escape from the hustle and bustle of Hanoi city, trace back the origin of Vietnam’s culture and traditions and paddle through a collection of unspoiled hamlets which are unique in Vietnam.

FULL ITINERARY

After breakfast, we will depart to the Duong Lam village.

Upon arrival, take a bike ride (or walking) to visit local houses, communal house dated back to 17th century – the riding will give you an impression of coming back to the ancient times.

You will visit Mia pagoda, King’s Ngo Quyen and Phung Hung’ temples. Meet with local villagers and visit a workshop for self-made soya sauce. Lunch at a local house.

Return to Hanoi late in the afternoon. Dinner on your own. End of services!
