FULL ITINERARY

Day trip to Mekong Delta - Ben Tre (L)

In the morning, you will be picked up at your hotel for a transfer to Ben Tre – a green land located 86 km from Ho Chi Minh City.

Upon arrival, embark on a local boat to a brick factory to learn more about the traditional making process of bricks remained unchanged for centuries. Continue onto one of coconut processing workshops along the canal to sample some fresh coconut and see how parts of the coconut are used to make food.

The boat will then take you to a rural village on natural canals. Take a short walk around the village to take in the tranquil and fresh air of the region. Pay a visit to a mat weaving house to observe local artisans using a hand loom to make beautiful mats. You could even try yourself to weave. Enjoy fruits and tea and chat with friendly locals.

Get on a moto-cart or bike to ride on small village road, pass through green rice paddies, farms and gardens. Stop at a local restaurant for a fabulous lunch with delicious local specialties. Transfer back to the pier by sampan or boat for a drive back to Ho Chi Minh City. End of services!
