Hanoi – Ba Be Lake (240 km)

Starting the motorcycle adventure from Hanoi, we will ride out of Hanoi City to Cho Chu Town in Thai Nguyen province along a scenic way. After lunch in that town, we keep riding to Ba Be Lake with great mountain view along the way.

Arriving in Pac Ngoi village (of Tay people) by the peaceful side of Ba Be Lake, we will stop, let your bikes rest at a Tay family where we have dinner and spend the night.

Ba Be Lake – Meo Vac (170 km)

Saying goodbye to the family, we continue riding on the back-roads via some authentic villages and jungle as well as some streams. Stop in Bao Lac Town for lunch and then, continue the adventure to Meo Vac by conquering some scenic routes over many passes, which offer beautiful view of mountain ranges and Nho Que River.

Arriving at Meo Vac at around 5.00pm, check in hotel. Dinner in the town.

Meo Vac – Ha Giang (180 km)

Ha Giang, 300 km away from Hanoi, located at the highest latitude in Vietnam. It is surrounded by Cao Bang, Tuyen Quang, Lao Cai, and Yen Bai. It shares a border with China in the north. Many ethnic minorities, including the Dao, H’mong, Tay, and Nung, live in Ha Giang province Vietnam.

The motorcycle ride today offers chance to visit some highlights of Ha Giang, including the ethnic groups with their unique culture, the mountainous ways like Ma Pi Leng Pass and the Rock Plateau, the Vuong Palace in Dong Van and the Heaven Gate of Quan Ba. Surely, every meter of the road, you always find a lot of fun.

Reaching Ha Giang in the late afternoon, we will stop at a Tay’s family or a standard hotel for overnight.

Ha Giang – Sapa (220km)

Today, we will ride motorbikes toward the North-Western mountain where the main Fanxipan Mountain range dominates until we arrive in the peaceful Sapa town. Along the way, you surely will be surprised by the breathtaking landscapes filled up with beautiful terraced rice fields, the masterpieces of minorities as well as the authentic images of locals.

Arrive in Sapa at around 5.00pm, overnight at hotel in Sapa.

Sapa – Mu Cang Chai (150 km)

Free time at your leisure until 1.00pm. Check out hotel and we continue this adventure to Than Uyen by driving from Sapa to the top of the highest pass of Tram Ton.

We will early reach Lai Chau province, located on the level of 2000m above sea level after an enjoyable ride from Sapa with a lot of nice views of Hoang Lien Mountain at each mile. Keep riding until we arrive in Mu Cang Chai at around 5.00pm. Dinner and overnight in hotel or home-stay.

Mu Cang Chai – Phu Yen (190 km)

Today, we keep riding up and down into a forested and mountainous area, home of H’mong people. After reaching a tea-growing region, we will soon get in the route taking us to Phu Yen among many villages of H’mong and Thai people.

Following a nice lunch in Tu Le, famous land of terraced fields, also where we rice through. Arrive Phu Yen town at 5.00pm. Overnight at hotel.

Phu Yen – Mai Chau Valley (160 km)

Different from the days before, today we will ride to Mai Chau Valley, the paradise of immense fields. Leave Phu Yen Town, we take a great ride along Da River, crossing the river by ferry and then ride up to Moc Chau Plateau where we have lunch.

After lunch, make a turn to the quiet mountain road of Hua Tat which was built by French people during the war time. Arriving in Mai Chau at around 4.30pm. Overnight in Poom Coong village of Thai people.

Mai Chau – Hanoi (170km)

Getting up in the morning, we will take a short walk around the valley to feel its tranquility before saying goodbye to this place and ride back to Hanoi at around 9.00am.

After 2 nice mountain passes, Thung Khe and Doc Cun, we will have lunch. Get in the high way to drive head to Hanoi where we arrive before rush hour.
