Complete Ha Giang Trekking

Hanoi – Ha Giang – Trekking to Tha village (L, D)

In the morning, depart from the capital of Hanoi for a drive to Ha Giang where your adventure will be started. Your 7 hour drive journey offers some of the most stunning scenery in the northern Vietnam. Along the way, there will be plenty stops for a visit small villages and beautiful photos. 

Upon arrival, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, set off your trekking to Tha village. One at the homestay, you are free to relax before having a welcome dinner.

Tha village – Meo Vac (B, L, D)

In the morning, set off your adventure north to the town of Meo Vac which is near the border with Chinese. Make a stop at Quan Ba Town and take a walk to the observatory to get the beautiful sight of Twin Mountains. The drive takes around 6 hours, passing through many ethnic villages with several stops en route. 

In the early afternoon, arrive in Meo Vac where you start a light trek to visit the villages of the Tay and Nung ethnic minorities.

Meo Vac – Dong Van (B, L, D)

In the morning, pay a visit to the colorful hill tribe market of Meo Vac to learn about local culture. Afterwards, take a short drive to Dong Van passing though Ma Pi Leng Pass. Continue your way to Dong Van stone plateau. Along the way, make a stop for a visit to a Hmong village in Lung Cam and the palace of Vuong family. The road is surrounded with fields and numerous rock formations offering amazing views. 

In the afternoon, spend time exploring the local villages and valleys around the area.

Overnight at homestay or hotel in Dong Van.

Dong Van – Lung Cu – Yen Minh (B, L, D)

After breakfast, depart for Lung Cu for a scenic one hour drive. This is the northernmost point of Vietnam famous for its highest flagpole of the North. Visit the local market to discover the diversity of the north. Afterwards, make a stop at the palace of a former Hmong king and stroll around Pho Bang Town where you can find various traditional Chinese –style houses. 

Then, drive to Yen Minh where you arrive in the late afternoon.

Yen Minh – Hoang Su Phi – Pan Hou Village (B, L, D)

Today, head back to Ha Giang. Your drive will take you through the Tam Son Valley. If you wish, there is a short trek to a Hmong village for a glimpse of a local way of life. Upon reaching Ha Giang city, continue driving to Hoang Su Phi offering beautiful landscapes. 

In the afternoon, arrive at Pan Hou Ecolodge. The rest of the day is free for you to relax.

Dinner and overnight at Pan Hou Ecolodge.

Trekking to Long Tunic Dao village (B, L, D)

After breakfast at the ecolodge, set off your trek on a small trail to Long Tunic Dao village for 3 hours. Enjoy lunch at Red Dao village. After lunch, continue your exploration around the village for 2 hours.

Trekking back to Pan Hou Ecolodge (B, L, D)

Today, take a trek back to Pan Hou where you arrive at this afternoon. Spend the rest of the day relaxing.

Pan Hou Ecolodge – Hanoi (B, L)

After breakfast at the ecolodge, it’s time to come back to Hanoi. Lunch will be served along the way. Arrive at your hotel in Hanoi in the afternoon. End of services.
