This handicraft village tour will take you to two among few remaining traditional villages in Hanoi – Bat Trang and Van Phuc villages. Famous for its hundred – year traditional handicraft, this trip will be an unexpected one bringing you first hand experiences about local culture.

FULL ITINERARY

Explore Traditional Villages of Hanoi

In the morning, you will be taken from your hotel for a visit to Bat Trang Pottery village. This is one of the most well – known traditional handicraft villages. Upon arrival, take a soft walking tour around the village to learn more about the making process of pottery products. Make a stop at the biggest ceramic market where you can do some shopping for a unique gift.

Transfer back to Hanoi for lunch at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, continue your excursion with a visit to Van Phuc Silk Village. Make the first stop at a local family – making silk to observe the techniques as well as making process of a silk. Keep on walking around the village to get a glimpse of the locals in the countryside. Pay a visit to a temple and a pagoda in the village to have more understanding about Vietnam’s culture. You will then be free to do some shopping for silk products before transferring back to the hotel.
